It is important to remember that every dog, regardless of its size, breed, training or previous behaviour, poses a risk to anyone, even in situations where the individual follows any suggestions found in this site.

Children should always be supervised by an adult when they are with a dog and encouraged to do what they can to help ensure the safety of both themselves and the dog.
